The opening video begins to play, leading into the words "'Mean' Gene's WWF Weekly Watch" appearing across the screen. As they disappear, we are brought to "Mean" Gene Okerlund.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to WWF Weekly Watch! I am your host, "Mean" Gene Okerlund, and here on Weekly Watch, we bring you the latest headlines, injuries, and signings, along with exclusive interviews with WWF Superstars and personnel! This week's top story...
"Mean" Gene Okerlund: Plenty of returning faces this week, as The Ultimate Warrior and "The Macho Man" Randy Savage both made their long anticipated returns to the square circle! The Ultimate Warrior managed a seemingly easy victory over new comer, Steve Austin, who was certainly put to the "ultimate" test. As for "The Macho Man," he surprised just about everyone in attendance, showing up unannounced and unanticipated, and sticking up for his friend and colleague, Mr. Perfect. "Macho Man" challenged Sid to a match, and got it, coming out victorious. But it was a brutal attack by Sid after the match that left everyone with a bad taste in their mouths. This week on WWF Weekly Watch, we have "The Macho Man" Randy Savage, live in studio, to ask him about the vicious attack he endured at the hands of "Sycho" Sid Justice.
"The Macho Man" walks up next to "Mean" Gene Okerlund. He stands with his back to the audience, before facing the camera.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund: "Macho Man," thank you for coming on WWF Weekly Watch. Monday night, the whole world watched "Sycho" Sid Justice brutally attack you with a steel chair after you had defeated him, much like the attack the week prior on your good friend, Mr. Perfect. We've been told you will be unable to compete this week. Is this true, and if so, will you be out long?
"Macho Man" Randy Savage: Unfortunately, "Mean" Gene, "The Macho Man" will indeed be unable to compete this week, but worry not! Because I will be back next week to take care of business, ooooh yeah!
"Mean" Gene Okerlund: Well, that's great news, Randy. What do you have to say about what happened on Monday night?
"Macho Man" Randy Savage: "Macho Man" Randy Savage didn't like those attacks one bit, no he didn't. You're not dealing with "Macho Man" any more, oh no, YOU'RE DEALING WITH MACHO MADNESS, OOOOH YEEAAAHHH!!!
"Mean" Gene Okerlund: Alright, very well... You uh... care to expand on that? Will there be any retaliation, Randy Savage?
Macho Man Randy Savage: Oh yeah, there will be retaliation! Sid thinks he got the last laugh after what he did Monday, but that doesn't matter. Nope, it doesn't matter one bit, because "The Macho Man" Randy Savage isn't done with you yet.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund: Alright Randy, final question. Do you have anything you'd like to say to Mr. McMahon or Mr. DiBiase, as to why you deserve a shot at being the WWF Champion?
"Macho Man" Randy Savage: Yeah, I'll tell you why I deserve a shot at the coveted World Wrestling Federation Championship! I deserve it, because I am the cream of the crop, ooooh yeah! I flew like an eagle and I've slithered with the snakes. "Macho Man" Randy Savage has what it takes to compete with anyone, anywhere, anytime, and I'll prove it. The WWF Championship WILL BE MINE!! DIG IT!!!
With that, "The Macho Man" storms off set.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund: Thank you very much, Randy Savage! Also on the subject of returning Superstars, the WWF is pleased to announce the signing of our old friend, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat! We look forward to, once again, seeing him on WWF television! Remember folks, the WWF comes to you live on PPV, Sunday December 29th, for In Your House: Massacre on 34th St! That's all the time we have for tonight! So long everyone!
The scene fades to black.
